Looking for mothers who blog or bloggers that write blogs for mothers who have made some money from their blogging. This inquiry will be for a story on web sites, and e-book and national magazines.

Maybe you’ve earned money by advertising or promoting products on your blog? If you have, and if we use your story, the information will be used in a variety of formats:

Web article on http://www.ezinearticles.com and

http://www.get-a-great-job.com

An e-book, Moms who Monetized Blogs on http://www.scribd.com,

and possibly in one or more national women’s magazines with a title like “10 Tips for Mom’s Who Want To Monetize Their Blogs.”

I’m interested in knowing any or all of the following:

1. How long have you been blogging?

2. Did you start out with the idea of making money out of your blog?

3. If no, when did you make the decision to try to make money out of your blog?

4. Are you satisfied with the amount of money you are making from your blog?

5. What did you do to generate revenue?

6. Are you thinking of expanding the amount of revenue you generate, or are you happy with the amount you make?

7. Are you thinking of any special ways to increase the revenue your blog generates (selling e-books, placing widgets, charging for advertising, etc.)

8. What is the most important bit of advice you can give to other moms who want to make money from their blogs?

9. Is there a warning or caveat that you would like to share with other people who want to monetize their blogs?

10. Do you feel more, or less, satisfied since you have monetized your blog?

Thank you.

With many municipalities, towns and cities facing deficits, I’m working on a story about the cancellation of fireworks displays across the country. If you live in a town that has canceled their fireworks display this year, I’d love to hear from you. If you have kids that might be up for talking, too, that’d be great.
